Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Doc Holliday (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sonny Corleone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holliday comes to the cage accompanied by Wanted Dead Or Alive. Corleone has chosen The Godfather Waltz as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Sonny Corleone has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Doc Holliday's chin.

Holliday closes the distance and clinches.

Holliday is trying to trip Corleone. He has hold of a leg but Corleone is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Holliday persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Holliday accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Holliday shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Corleone's guard.

The fighters circle momentarily. Holliday darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Holliday postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Corleone looks a forlorn figure.

Holliday jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Corleone is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Corleone and Holliday has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Corleone seems a little lost for a moment, as Holliday dominates the positioning.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Corleone is not content to let Holliday control the position.
Holliday fails to land a wild elbow strike.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!
