Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Piltz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaladin Stormblessed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Piltz comes into the arena with I'm too Sexy blaring out of the sound system. Kaladin Stormblessed has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mark Piltz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kaladin Stormblessed! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Bruno Hogan and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Piltz keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Nice shot by Stormblessed. Piltz takes a shot right to the bread basket. A nice leg kick lands there from Stormblessed. Stormblessed lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Piltz circles away quickly and effectively. Piltz throws a low kick but it's checked well by Stormblessed. Stormblessed gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Piltz to score an easy takedown into full guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Stormblessed keeping moving, preventing Piltz from controlling successfully. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Piltz is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Stormblessed is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Stormblessed has escaped and now he's on top! Piltz has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stormblessed can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Piltz escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Stormblessed gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Piltz seems keen to control Stormblessed's posture. Stormblessed wants to stand but Piltz is controlling his posture from full guard. Piltz looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Stormblessed's corner is telling him to maintain position. Piltz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Stormblessed wants to stand but Piltz is controlling his posture from full guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Piltz looking for a guillotine here but Stormblessed defends easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stormblessed wants to stand but Piltz is controlling his posture from full guard. Stormblessed trying to control the position from guard on top but Piltz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Piltz looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Stormblessed is wriggling around trying to escape.
Piltz is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Stormblessed has managed to escape the submission attempt.
BOOM! Piltz connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Piltz lands a big elbow. Piltz breaks from Stormblessed's wrist control and lands an elbow. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Piltz trying to control but Stormblessed is having none of it. Piltz is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Stormblessed can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Piltz wants to finish this one by submission but Stormblessed is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Piltz. Stormblessed really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Piltz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Piltz is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Stormblessed can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Stormblessed's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Piltz tries to control but Stormblessed wriggling away. Stormblessed blocking the ground and pound. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Piltz with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Piltz is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Stormblessed is surviving well by controlling Piltz's body position as best he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mark Piltz dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
Stormblessed tries to keep at a distance but Piltz has taken the fight into the clinch. Stormblessed tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Piltz tries to score a body lock takedown but Stormblessed shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Stormblessed scores with an uppercut up the middle. Piltz throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Stormblessed breaks the clinch.
Stormblessed keeps the fight on the outside. Piltz walks into a jab. Piltz is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Stormblessed fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Piltz manages to avoid it. Stormblessed wants to clinch. Piltz takes one on the chin but seems OK.
That's one minute gone in the round. Piltz moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Piltz moves out of range of the body kick. Stormblessed paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Piltz swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Stormblessed misses with a wild body shot. Piltz avoids the body shot from Stormblessed.
Piltz defending well as Stormblessed loads up on a big left hand. Stormblessed catches Piltz with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Stormblessed looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Kaladin Stormblessed is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Piltz moves out of range of the strikes. A looping hook to the body misses from Stormblessed. Piltz does a little dance to reset his feet. Piltz throws a right and a left that both miss. Mark Piltz is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Stormblessed just misses with a punch to the body.
Stormblessed misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Stormblessed cracks Piltz with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Stormblessed has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. A low kick from Stormblessed is predictable there and Piltz counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Stormblessed preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Stormblessed controls Piltz momentarily but Piltz frees himself. Piltz throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Stormblessed works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Stormblessed trying to keep a closed guard but Piltz is proving a slippery customer.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Kaladin Stormblessed hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Nice straight punches there by Stormblessed. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Stormblessed. Stormblessed tries to clinch up. Stormblessed looks to score with a jab to the body but Piltz is just out of range. A looping hook to the body misses from Stormblessed. Piltz does a little dance to reset his feet. Stormblessed throws a sloppy head kick and Piltz moves out of range easily. Piltz moves out of range as Stormblessed strikes. Stormblessed misses with a hook to the body
and Piltz counters with a series of strikes. Stormblessed will be more careful next time no doubt. Stormblessed tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Piltz was well out of range. Poor timing from Stormblessed. Stormblessed comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. A low kick from Stormblessed is predictable there and Piltz counters with a nice double leg into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stormblessed is trying to control the position but Piltz postures up. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Stormblessed is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Piltz is controlling him. Stormblessed is breathing heavily. Piltz controls the pace of the fight for a moment. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Stormblessed is on top in guard.
Stormblessed content to stall in guard here. Piltz looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Piltz is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Piltz is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stormblessed tries to stand but Piltz is controlling from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Kaladin Stormblessed will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Stormblessed tries to clinch up but Piltz circles away and keeps his distance. Stormblessed looking to land some kicks to the body here.
A combination from Piltz does no damage. Stormblessed scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. A low kick from Stormblessed misses and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Stormblessed fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Kaladin Stormblessed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Piltz throws a combination that misses and Stormblessed counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Stormblessed stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Stormblessed wants it to stay on the feet. Nice uppercut there from Stormblessed. Stormblessed throws out a loose jab but Piltz uses good head movement to avoid it.

and Piltz counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Stormblessed lands a jab. Piltz wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Stormblessed tried to score with a low kick but Piltz checks it. Kaladin Stormblessed seems to be getting the better of the standup. Stormblessed swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Piltz looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Stormblessed throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Stormblessed misses with a body shot.
Piltz closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Piltz throws an elbow but it misses.
Piltz tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Stormblessed avoids it. Piltz goes for a takedown in the clinch but Stormblessed prevents it.
Piltz drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Piltz. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stormblessed misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Stormblessed swings wildly with an uppercut but Piltz uses good head movement to avoid it. Piltz tries to throw a body punch but Stormblessed avoids it by throwing Piltz back against the ropes. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Stormblessed is defending well against a takedown attempt. Stormblessed throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Piltzs head. Piltz is working for takedown but Stormblessed is calmly controlling the position for now. Stormblessed is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Piltz is keeping busy. Piltz prevents a body shot from Stormblessed.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Piltz misses with an elbow strike.

Stormblessed lands with a left to the head. A short right from Stormblessed. Stormblessed is leaning against Piltz and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Stormblessed blocks an elbow strike from Piltz.

Stormblessed lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the ropes. Stormblessed is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Piltz is keeping busy. Stormblessed scores with a shot to the side of Piltz's head. A quick uppercut on the inside from Stormblessed. Piltz avoiding damage.
Stormblessed blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Stormblessed scores with a hook to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Piltz drops down looking for an ankle pick but Stormblessed pulls his leg out and moves away.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Stormblessed connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stormblessed throws a quick inside leg kick. Stormblessed lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

And that's the end of the fight! Kaladin Stormblessed comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Stormblessed has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
