Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dean Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Check Mong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Dean Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Check Mong! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Atkins and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mong swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Williams tries to close the distance and clinch but Mong swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Williams slips a jab from Mong. Mong tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Williams counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Mong's guard now. Williams sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mong's guard. Williams wants to free his trapped foot but Mong is holding on for dear life with his legs. Mong wants to get back to full guard. Williams works his foot free and advances to mount. Williams looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Williams wants to take Mong's back here but Mong is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Mong is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Mong regains half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mong is pressing down on Williams's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Williams stopping the sweep attempt from Mong. Williams postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Mong is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Williams, into his guard. Williams is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Williams is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Mong scoring with some ground and pound. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Mong wants to stand but Williams has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Williams manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mong manages to get himself to full guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Mong has his foot on Williams's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Williams works his way back into a safe position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Williams wants to pass the guard but Mong is keeping the position. Williams is looking to advance position but Mong has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Mong raining down shots from the mount! Williams keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Williams is breathing heavily. Mong lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Williams hang on? Williams sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Williams looking for submissions off his back. Williams manages to get to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mong's guard. Mong wants to sweep here but Williams controlling him for the moment. Williams might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Mong is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Williams drops back looking for a leg! Mong is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mong manages to kick Williams off! Williams jumps back into Mong's guard. Mong had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Williams is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Mong Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Williams's back instead. Mong is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Williams up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Williams manages to reverse the position and now he's in Mong's guard. Nice work there by Williams.
Williams looking to pass the guard. Williams has gone for a leg lock! Mong slips out almost immediately though and dives into Williams's guard. Williams has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mong can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Williams can't keep his opponent in guard - Mong advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Williams tries to roll over but Mong keeps him under control. Williams slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Williams keeping moving, preventing Mong from controlling successfully. Williams is looking to sinch up a triangle. Mong throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Williams's body to avoid the submission. Williams has instead reached around Mong's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Williams arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
