Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben Carmel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wu Tang Fu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carmel comes into the arena with Eminem - Cinderella Man blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ben Carmel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wu Tang Fu! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fu misses with a left hand enabling Carmel to counter with a crisp jab. Wu Tang Fu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fu moves into the clinch. Fu with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Fu dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Carmel tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Fu breaks the clinch.
Carmel shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Fu is staying active underneath Carmel, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Fu is trying to get back to full guard. Fu is not content to let Carmel control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fu tries to get to full guard but Carmel has control of the leg. Fu regains full guard. Nicely done. Fu working a defensive guard here.
Fu has a closed guard, preventing Carmel from standing up. Fu wants to sweep here but Carmel controlling him for the moment. Fu pulls Carmel in close to prevent any damage.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Fu misses with a wild body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fu gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Fu is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Carmel postures up.
Carmel wants to control from the top but Fu keeps moving. Carmel stays in close to Fu's body and controls the position. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Fu controls Carmel momentarily but Carmel frees himself.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Ben Carmel wasn't doing enough on the ground. Carmel misses with a wild combination.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carmel fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Fu to the ground. Carmel is now in Fu's guard. Fu is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Fu looking to hit a scissor sweep but Carmel is one step ahead there. Fu controlling Carmel's posture. Carmel trying to control the position from guard on top but Fu is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fu trying to keep a closed guard but Carmel is proving a slippery customer.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Wu Tang Fu was stalling too much, according to the referee. Carmel misses with a few strikes there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fu tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Carmel manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Fu tries to close the distance and clinch up but Carmel swats him away and circles back towards the center. Wu Tang Fu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Fu tries to clinch up. Carmel shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Carmel wants to get up but he can't break Fu's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Fu is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Fu has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Carmel off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Fu wants to clinch up but Carmel keeps it at a distance. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fu fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Carmel, pushing him back against the cage. Fu crunches a lovely knee into Carmel's ribcage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ben Carmel will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Carmel takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Carmel manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Fu on his heels. He'll look to pass Fu's guard now, I'm sure. Fu is controlling Carmel's posture. Ben Carmel overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Carmel trying to control but Fu is working from the bottom. Carmel stands and throws Fu's legs to the side, diving into side control. Carmel wants to control but Fu is keeping him busy. Fu is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Carmel off and has taken his back! Fu struggling to keep hold of the position.
Carmel rolls, trying to escape but Fu keeps control of the position.

That's one minute gone in the round. Carmel is trying to defend against the choke here but Fu has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Fu Tightens the hold and Carmel taps out furiously! Fu displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Wu Tang Fu! Wu Tang Fu thanked the fans post fight for their support.
