PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Lindros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Bowman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bowman is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Dark Tranquillity - Misery's Crown. Pete Bowman told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lindros with a hook.
Bowman moves out of range as Lindros strikes.
Bowman stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Lindros.
Bowman avoids the body shot from Lindros.
Bowman throws a leg kick
and Bowman takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Bowman misses with a head kick.
Bowman looks to land a right hand but Lindros moved out of range.
Lindros throws a front kick that sends Bowman stumbling back into the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lindros throws a hook to the side of Bowman's head but Bowman sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Lindros throws a leg kick
and Bowman counters with a low kick, right behind Lindros 's knee.
A telegraphed right hand from Bowman misses the target.
Bowman throws a head kick but Lindros moves out of range.
That kick from Lindros tenderised Bowman's leg. Bowman is trying to keep his angry face on.
Lindros scores with a leg kick.
Bowman looks gassed!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Lindros.
Lindros throws a head kick that half lands.
Lindros ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Lindros fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Bowman misses with a wild body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lindros checks a leg kick.
Bowman lands a body shot.
Lindros connects with an inside leg kick.
Lindros works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Bowman throws a looping overhand right but Lindros ducks down to avoid it.
Lindros lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Bowman at a distance.
Lindros throws a low kick, looking for Bowman's leg but Bowman calmly moves out of range.
Bowman throws a head kick but Lindros moves out of range.
Bowman paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Lindros scores with a nice right hand.
Lindros throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lindros lands an overhand right.
Bowman takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Lindros scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Oooooh!!! Lindros has knocked Bowman down with a huge combo! Lindros steps away and waves a wobbly Bowman back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Bowman is rocked!

It looks like Pete Bowman has been cut.
Lindros throws an overhand right that drops Bowman like a sack of potatoes! Lindros dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
