Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Silvestry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Tweedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silvestry's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Street Fighter. Tweedy comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hard Act To Follow kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Steve Erwin and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tweedy has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Silvestry.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Silvestry lands a nice knee to the body.
Silvestry has Tweedy pushed against the cage.

Tweedy has Silvestry pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Tweedy pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Silvestry tumbling to the mat - Tweedy dives into Silvestry's guard.

Silvestry drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Tweedy manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Silvestry has Tweedy in his guard.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Silvestry tries to close the distance and clinch but Tweedy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Silvestry crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Tweedy - the referee stops the clock and Silvestry gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Tweedy. Silvestry manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
