Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between DeSean Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 1, fighting out of New York, DeSean Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Adam Gracie!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, David Schapiro and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson loads up on a big right hand but Gracie slips the punch.
Gracie misses with a hook
and Jackson counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Gracie is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Jackson throws a leg kick but Gracie sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Jackson lands with a good body shot.
Gracie moves away from the strike by Jackson.
Gracie on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Jackson motions for Gracie to come forward. Jackson throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Gracie dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Jackson rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Gracie counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Gracie fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jackson manages to avoid it.

Gracie fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Jackson is out of range.

Jackson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Gracie's hands.

Gracie throws a looping overhand right but Jackson ducks down to avoid it.
Jackson slips a jab from Gracie.
Adam Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie throws a big shot that misses.
Gracie fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Jackson connects with a single shot there.

Gracie shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jackson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Gracie drops back looking for a leg! Jackson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jackson manages to kick Gracie off! Gracie jumps back into Jackson's guard.

Gracie postures up.
Gracie works over Jackson with some ground and pound from guard.
Gracie missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Jackson is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Gracie stops Jackson from standing up.
Jackson wants to sweep here but Gracie controlling him for the moment.

Gracie might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Jackson kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Gracie thows a left - swing and a miss!
Gracie lands with an uppercut that bounces Jackson off the cage and back into range.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown but Jackson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Good exchange - Gracie coming out on top.

Gracie darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Adam Gracie will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Jackson feints and then cracks Gracie's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gracie down.

Gracie ducks under a wild hook from Jackson.
Jackson moves into range and connects with a jab.
Jackson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Jackson avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Jackson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gracie.

A short body shot lands from Jackson as the two fighters clinch.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gracie is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jackson defends well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jackson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gracie has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jackson has managed to get both his arms back between Gracie's legs - danger averted.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

I would just about give that final round to Adam Gracie.
I think Gracie has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
