Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hani Fouad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and joel edmond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Luis Engracia and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
edmond throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
edmond throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Fouad shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in edmond's guard.
Fouad pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. edmond is keeping the position for now.
edmond really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fouad. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fouad has gone for a leg lock! edmond slips out almost immediately though and dives into Fouad's guard.
Fouad is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
