Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ba Lil I (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonnie Boardwalk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ba Lil I! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jonnie Boardwalk! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lil I shoots in but Boardwalk avoids the takedown attempt easily. Boardwalk fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Boardwalk shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lil I's guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Lil I looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Lil I has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Boardwalk can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Boardwalk throws a big elbow that misses. Boardwalk wants to control from the top but Lil I keeps moving. Boardwalk won't allow Lil I to sweep him here. Boardwalk scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Boardwalk is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. This has been an exciting period of action! Lil I looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's one minute gone in the round. Lil I preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Boardwalk throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Lil I has his foot on Boardwalk's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Boardwalk works his way back into a safe position though. Lil I not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Lil I is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Lil I managing to control the position. Boardwalk postures up and lands a big shot to Lil I's brow. Boardwalk stands up over Lil I, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Lil I is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Boardwalk postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Lil I looking to control.
Boardwalk throwing strikes but missing. Lil I throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lil I isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Boardwalk stacks Lil I on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Boardwalk! Lil I is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Lil I holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Boardwalk working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lil I looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Lil I is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Boardwalk's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Boardwalk's back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boardwalk trying to control the position but Lil I manages to sink in the hooks. Lil I has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Boardwalk! Can he survive? No! He's out! Lil I gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Ba Lil I!
