The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brandao drives through with a takedown into guard.

JamesJones with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Brandao to score with a decent uppercut.

Brandao closes the distance and clinches.
Brandao gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Brandao looks to get to his feet but JamesJones has hold of an arm. He's persisting with trying to stand up and JamesJones certainly isn't letting go of the arm! JamesJones seems to be the aggressor now - he's rolled into the armbar and extended it - Brandao is clearly in a lot of pain. He's tapping! He's tapping! What an ending! One minute you're in a dominant position, the next you've got a notch in the loss column - that's why we all love this sport!
