The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bandeira Jr will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Swanson checks a leg kick.
Swanson thows a body shot but no joy.
Swanson throws a series of punches but Bandeira Jr moves out of range.
Bandeira Jr throws a low kick but it's checked well by Swanson.
Swanson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Swanson takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Nigel Swanson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bandeira Jr lets loose with a powerful body kick. Swanson will feel that in the morning.

Bandeira Jr throws a lazy right hand but Swanson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Bandeira Jr sends Swanson crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Bandeira Jr is motioning to the referee to let Swanson up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Swanson tries to close the distance and clinch but Bandeira Jr swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bandeira Jr fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Swanson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Swanson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bandeira Jr.

Bandeira Jr fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Swanson to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Swanson looks to clinch but Bandeira Jr throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Swanson taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

In his post fight interview, Gabriel Bandeira Jr gave a big smile as he said 'Face me, French Toast! Or are you simply afraid? Stop hiding behind the belt dude. Rejecting fight with me was disrespectful and I will punish you for this.'.
