Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Takanori Gomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riley Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gomi's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Scary: Delete Streamin' Freq. from Fear Side. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Ren Mimura and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomi lands a jab-cross combination.
Davis looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Davis throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Gomi was covering up waiting for the punch and Davis finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Davis drops back looking for a leg! Gomi is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gomi manages to kick Davis off! Davis jumps back into Gomi's guard.
Davis decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Gomi, up you get!
Davis tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gomi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Davis somewhat.
Gomi closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

That was a close round but I would say that Takanori Gomi will probably get the nod.

Still in the clinch, Gomi scores with a nice short uppercut.
Gomi throws a knee to the head but misses.
Gomi connects with a knee to the head.
Gomi tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Davis tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Gomi just stands there and leans against the cage.

Davis ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Davis no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Riley Davis has got the better of the ground game so far.
Gomi wants to stand but Davis has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Davis pushes a forearm under Gomi's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Gomi is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
