Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Troy Bennett! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rick Astley! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Aafke Stam and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bennett is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Astley. Nice sprawl there from Bennett as Astley shoots in. Bennett scores a takedown into full mount! Astley trying to punch from the bottom. They're landing but they're really not going to hurt Bennett. Bennett wants to control but instead Astley manages to regain half guard. Astley gets back to full guard.
Bennett throws an elbow that misses. Astley uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bennett's guard. Nice move by Astley! Bennett wants to stand but Astley is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Astley is pushing down on Bennett's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bennett is fighting to maintain full guard but Astley has managed to sneak the leg through. Astley looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Astley prevents Bennett from improving his position. Bennett on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bennett tries to get out of the position. Bennett tries to kick Astley off but Astley keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bennett tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Astley manages to move to mount!

Astley swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
