Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aron Petursson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Redfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chris Redfield!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Jeff Smith and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petursson gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Redfield looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Redfield fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Redfield tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Petursson smiles and moves away.
Petursson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Redfield connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Petursson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Redfield pinned against the cage. Redfield gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Petursson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Redfield looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Redfield struggling a bit here.
Redfield is trying to escape the position but Petursson is controlling the position.
Redfield stops Petursson from passing to mount.
Petursson has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Redfield!
Petursson sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Petursson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Redfield really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Petursson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Redfield is looking to escape.
Petursson stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Petursson instigates a clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Redfield tries to pull guard but Petursson forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Aron Petursson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Redfield.
Petursson is trying to break free.
Petursson is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Redfield jumps guard but Petursson turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Petursson working hard to break the clinch.
Petursson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Redfield uses from the top position.

Redfield stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Petursson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Petursson trying to keep a closed guard but Redfield is proving a slippery customer.
Redfield is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Petursson has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Redfield is looking to defend but Petursson has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Redfield! Petursson pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Redfield taps out and this one is all over!
