Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brian Harvey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hamid Zaferani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harvey's entrance music is E-17 . A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brian Harvey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hamid Zaferani!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Jeff Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zaferani cracks Harvey with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Zaferani avoids the body shot from Harvey.
Harvey throws an overhand right that lands on Zaferani's shoulder, as Zaferani tries to avoid the shot.
A big left from Harvey misses.
Zaferani jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Harvey takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Harvey closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Zaferani quickly recovers to half guard.

Harvey working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Zaferani doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Zaferani manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Harvey shoots for a double leg takedown but Zaferani sprawls well. He's pushed Harvey's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Zaferani fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Harvey is out of range.
Harvey feints and then cracks Zaferani's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Zaferani down.

Zaferani throws a low kick but it's checked well by Harvey.

Zaferani throws out a loose jab but Harvey uses good head movement to avoid it.

and Zaferani counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Harvey is lucky that one didn't land flush.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Harvey wants to control from the top but Zaferani keeps moving.
Zaferani pulls Harvey in close to his closed guard and prevents Harvey from doing any damage or advancing position.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Harvey looking to sit in guard and control but Zaferani gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Harvey has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Zaferani can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Harvey has his feet on Zaferani's thighs here. He's pushed Zaferani off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Zaferani screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
