Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Gabore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Red Dragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gabore comes into the arena with Smoke Weed Everyday blaring out of the sound system. Eddie Gabore has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Eddie Gabore! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Red Dragon! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Josh West and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gabore lands with a kick to the temple. Dragon shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Red Dragon has been cut. Gabore throws a lazy head kick and Dragon makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Gabore really felt that one! Gabore fails with a takedown attempt. Dragon feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Gabore's calf. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dragon clinches with his opponent.
Dragon jumps guard and drags Gabore to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Dragon manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Gabore manages to get himself to full guard.
Dragon tries to free his leg and advance position but Gabore is retaining full guard. Dragon is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Dragon stands and steps away. Gabore gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gabore throws a head kick that misses and Dragon counters with a low kick, right behind Gabore 's knee. Gabore takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Gabore is breathing heavily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The fight moves into the clinch position. Dragon successfully pulls guard.
Dragon keeping busy, throwing shots from the bottom. Dragon has control of Gabore's left arm, preventing Gabore from doing any damage. Dragon bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gabore's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dragon stays in close to Gabore's body and controls the position. Dragon working some strikes from top position. Gabore can't keep his opponent in guard - Dragon advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Dragon stalling.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gabore on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Dragon is taking a breather. Gabore says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Red Dragon wasn't active enough on the ground. Gabore throws a lazy head kick and Dragon counters with a leg kick. Dragon tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Gabore swivels and escapes. Dragon buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dragon gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Dragon has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Gabore uses from the top position. Dragon bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gabore's guard. Dragon looking to control the position here, rather than advance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Red Dragon dominated that round. The cut man is working on Red Dragon's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Gabore throws a sloppy head kick and Dragon counters by clinching up. Dragon breaks the clinch.
Red Dragon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Dragon blocks a head kick by Gabore.
Gabore throws a lazy head kick and Dragon counters with a nice kick to the body. Gabore throws a sloppy head kick and Dragon finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dragon lands with a kick to the ribs.
Dragon shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dragon content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Dragon is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Gabore is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
