Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gabe Mykolas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cody Stone!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mykolas shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Mykolas scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Mykolas is putting a hurting on Stone here, landing some big shots from side control.
Mykolas throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Stone works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stone regains full guard. Nicely done.
Mykolas wants to control from the top but Stone keeps moving.
Stone not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Stone gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Stone looks gassed!
Stone is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Mykolas drops back looking for a leg! Stone is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Stone manages to kick Mykolas off! Mykolas jumps back into Stone's guard.
Mykolas wants to pass the guard but Stone is keeping the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Stone is pulling down on Mykolas's head to control his posture.
Stone is trying to control the position but Mykolas postures up.
Mykolas is looking to stand up but Stone won't let him.

Mykolas wants to stand but Stone has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Mykolas shoots in looking for a takedown. Stone tries to sprawl out of it but Mykolas keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stone manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Stone fails with an attempt to clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mykolas cracks Stone with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Stone falls to his knees and Mykolas doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gabe Mykolas!
