Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Archer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kuma Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nelson has chosen The Sound of Silence as his entrance music. Kuma Nelson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Aaron Archer!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kuma Nelson!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Dean Styles and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Archer takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Kuma Nelson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Archer keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Nelson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Archer.
Archer shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Nelson defends it nicely.
Archer takes one on the button.

Archer drives through with a takedown into Nelson's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Nelson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Archer defends it easily.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Nelson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Archer defends well.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Nelson buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Archer takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Nelson attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Nelson closes the distance and pushes Archer back into the cage.
A bit of stalling here from Archer.

Nelson has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Archer is trying to drag Nelson to the mat but Nelson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Kuma Nelson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Archer uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nelson.

Archer feints and as Nelson raises his hands in defense, Archer changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Nelson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Nelson looks for the body kick but Archer saw that one coming.
Nelson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Archer.
Nelson throws a head kick that misses.
Nelson avoids the body shot from Archer.
Nelson slaps away a takedown attempt from Archer, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Nelson throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Archer on the side of the head.

Nelson is looking to chop away at Archer's legs.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Nelson, as that shot connected.

Kuma Nelson dominated that fourth round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
