Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jon Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Justin Frost!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Steve Montenegro and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones is looking to clinch.
Frost avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jones closes the distance looking to clinch
and Frost counters with a one-two to the body.
Frost bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Jones's head.
Frost throws a right hand that Jones ducks under and follows up with a left that Jones also avoids with ease.
Frost misses with the combination.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Jones jumps into guard, dragging Frost to the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Frost gets to his feet. Jones looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Frost lunges at Jones with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Jones's hand.

Frost throws a looping overhand right but Jones ducks down to avoid it.

Jones swings around for an armbar but Frost sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Jones's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Frost is looking to stand up but Jones won't let him.
Jones throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Jones will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Jones wants to improve his position but instead Frost has moved into half guard.
Jones is trying to stand.

Frost decides to return to a standing position.
Frost throws a sloppy head kick and Jones moves out of range easily.
Jones is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Frost throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Frost throws a shot from downtown. Jones moves away and avoids it.

Jones has taken the fight to the clinch.
Jones wants a takedown but no success here.
Frost is looking to break free of the clinch but Jones has double underhooks.

Frost trying to stall but Jones improves his position.
Frost is trying to push Jones away but Jones has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Jones fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Jones throws an elbow but it misses.

Frost wants to get up but he can't break Jones's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Jones uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Frost.
Frost lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jones circles away quickly and effectively.

Jones shoots in for a takedown but Frost shows good takedown defense.

Frost misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Frost avoids the head kick by Jones.
Jones misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Frost tries to avoid it but Jones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Frost to the ground. Frost escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Frost is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Jones asserts his dominance and retains side control.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jon Jones will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Jones has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Frost is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
