Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alvin Bensin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luis deFunes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bensin misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from deFunes.
deFunes pulls out of a head kick attempt.
deFunes tries to clinch up.
deFunes clinches up against the cage.
deFunes lands a body shot.
deFunes lands a left hand that snaps the head of Bensin backwards.
Bensin is trying to break the clinch but deFunes is controlling him.
A right handed body shot lands from deFunes.
deFunes swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Bensin wants to break free but deFunes has control.
deFunes lands a right hand.
Bensin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
deFunes lands with a shot to the body.
deFunes pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
deFunes takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

deFunes lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Bensin is breathing heavily.
deFunes scores with an uppercut up the middle.
deFunes digs a right hand into Bensin's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Bensin's gas tank.

deFunes lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Bensin backwards.

deFunes lands with a left to the head.
Bensin is rocked!

Oh Bensin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
deFunes pushes Bensin against the cage. deFunes is working some dirty boxing. deFunes pushes off with a quick right hook! Bensin goes down! Bensin tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! deFunes moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Luis deFunes bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
