Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Flex Nuisance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iokua Mikala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nuisance comes to the cage accompanied by High Hopes by Frank Sinatra. Iokua Mikala will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mikala moves out of range of the strikes.
Nuisance tries to clinch but Mikala moves out of range.
Mikala throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Mikala lands a head kick!

It looks like Flex Nuisance has been cut.

Nuisance closes the distance and clinches.
A left hand lands to the body for Nuisance.
Nuisance doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Nuisance swings wildly with an uppercut but Mikala uses good head movement to avoid it.
Mikala tries for a takedown but Nuisance manages to get underhooks.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Mikala lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Nuisance or not.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Nuisance is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Mikala tries to throw a body punch but Nuisance avoids it by throwing Mikala back against the cage.

Mikala goes for a takedown attempt but Nuisance pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Nuisance tries to clinch up.
Mikala shoots in looking for a takedown. Nuisance tries to sprawl out of it but Mikala keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Nuisance manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Flex Nuisance has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Iokua Mikala.
A telegraphed right hand from Nuisance misses the target.
Nuisance lands a glancing blow to the side of Mikala's head.

It looks like Iokua Mikala has been cut.
Nuisance ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mikala moves away.
Nuisance throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Mikala counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Nuisance throws a lazy right hand but Mikala sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Nuisance waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Mikala.
Flex Nuisance is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mikala takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Nuisance avoids the head kick by Mikala.
Nuisance thows a body shot but no joy.
Nuisance fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Mikala on the side of the head.
Nuisance wants to clinch.
Nuisance jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Mikala closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Donk. Nuisance catches Mikala right on the button with a cross.
Nuisance fails in his attempt to clinch.
Nuisance throws an ugly left hook that misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Nuisance throws a predictable looking body shot
and Mikala counters with an inside leg kick.

Nuisance has taken the fight to the clinch.
Still in the clinch, Nuisance scores with a nice short uppercut.
Mikala blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Mikala lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Mikala goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Flex Nuisance dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.

Nuisance scores with the left hand. Mikala knows he should have avoided that one.
Mikala throws a head kick that Nuisance semi-blocks.

Nuisance closes the distance and pushes Mikala back into the cage.

Nuisance can't find room to land a body shot as Mikala controls the action.

Mikala is breathing heavily.
Nuisance is leaning against Mikala and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Nuisance misses with a body punch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Nuisance drops Mikala onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Mikala is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Mikala is still on wobbly legs! Can Nuisance finish him?

Mikala takes a shot to the head.
Nuisance lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Mikala to his knees! Nuisance keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
