Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hagen looks for a takedown but Asztalos sprawls well.
Asztalos throws an overhand right that lands on Hagen's shoulder, as Hagen tries to avoid the shot.
Asztalos throws a series of strikes that have Hagen backpedaling.
Asztalos gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hagen to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Hagen wants to control from the top but Asztalos keeps moving.
Asztalos utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Asztalos wants to stand up but Hagen is controlling him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hagen is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Asztalos has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Hagen off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Tibo Asztalos is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Asztalos bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Hagen's head.
Hagen chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Asztalos can pounce on him.
Asztalos stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Asztalos lands a nice looking body shot.
Asztalos waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Hagen.
A big right from Asztalos misses.
Asztalos bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Hagen's head backwards.
Hagen shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Asztalos sprawls well. Asztalos wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hagen gets slowly back to his feet.

Asztalos throws a front kick aimed at Hagen's knee but Hagen avoids it well.
Asztalos misses with a hook. Hagen ducked under it nicely.
Hagen misses with a low kick.
Hagen closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hagen is working Asztalos over with some ground and pound from side control.
Hagen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Asztalos takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Hagen is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Asztalos is trying to escape and Hagen transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Asztalos is forced to tap! Nice work there by Hagen! Very nice indeed!
