Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buttney Butternuts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ultimate Striker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Paul Gruel and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butternuts stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Butternuts wants it to stay on the feet.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Butternuts!
It looks like Ultimate Striker has been cut.
Striker showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Butternuts.
Butternuts gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Butternuts can't get the takedown.
Striker pulls Butternuts into guard.
Butternuts drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Striker manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Butternuts has Striker in his guard.
Striker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Butternuts swivels though and keeps the full guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Butternuts is trying to control the position but Striker postures up.
Butternuts wants to improve his position but instead Striker has moved into half guard.
Butternuts has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Striker is working away from the top position though.

Striker tries to pass to full mount but Butternuts defends it.
Striker wants to control but Butternuts is keeping him busy.
Butternuts knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Striker on the ground.
Butternuts tries to get to full guard but Striker has control of the leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Striker trying to mount his opponent but Butternuts defends it.
Butternuts is looking to escape.
Butternuts on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Butternuts tries to get out of the position.
Striker tries to pass to full mount but Butternuts defends it.
Striker is looking to take a break and control but Butternuts is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Horrible takedown by Striker or perhaps it was just good defense by Butternuts which made him look bad.

No joy there for Butternuts, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Butternuts rushes Striker and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Striker can't break the clinch.
Striker is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Butternuts is keeping busy.
Butternuts breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Striker slaps away a takedown attempt from Butternuts, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Butternuts displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Striker.
Buttney Butternuts has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ultimate Striker.
Striker misses with a head kick.
Striker tries to clinch but Butternuts is having none of it.

Butternuts is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Striker's half guard.

Butternuts tries to stand and escape but Striker actually recovers to full guard.
Butternuts is looking to advance position but Striker has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Butternuts is breathing heavily.
Striker content just to control the position here.
You get the feeling that Butternuts really doesn't like being in this position too much.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Striker goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Butternuts turns into him and now he's in Striker's guard.
Butternuts sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Striker looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Striker is controlling Butternuts's posture.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Buttney Butternuts will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Ultimate Striker's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Butternuts tries to score a power double leg takedown but Striker sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Butternuts somewhat.
Striker shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Butternuts as he avoids it easily.
A combination from Striker does no damage.
A clash of legs there as Striker blocks the low kick.
Striker tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Butternuts shoots in for a takedown but Striker shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Striker pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Striker is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Butternuts's half guard.
Striker seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Butternuts is not content to let Striker control the position.

Butternuts is looking to improve his position.
Striker looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Butternuts with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Striker with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Striker works his way into full mount!
Butternuts is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Butternuts really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Striker has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Butternuts's face.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Striker working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Butternuts looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Striker! Submission of the night perhaps?
