Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kalle Monsterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Man Zend (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zend comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Get Up kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Monsterson misses its intended target.
Monsterson's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Monsterson duly obliges.
Monsterson moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Monsterson closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Zend's guard.
Zend wants to sweep here but Monsterson controlling him for the moment.

Zend feints and then cracks Monsterson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Monsterson down.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Man Zend seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zend tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Monsterson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Monsterson lands a big elbow - Zend is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Monsterson!
