Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ulric Hallestrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hallestrom might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to With Oden On Our Side - Amon Amarth. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Hallestrom. James does a little dance to reset his feet.
James uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
James tests Hallestrom's chin there with a solid looking shot.
James ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hallestrom moves away.
Hallestrom throws an overhand right that lands on James's shoulder, as James tries to avoid the shot.
Hallestrom pulls out of a head kick attempt.
James takes a swing at Hallestrom's ribcage but misses.
A swing and a miss from Hallestrom.
A telegraphed right hand from Hallestrom misses the target.
James misses with a wild body shot.
James misses the shot to the body.
James misses with an uppercut. Hallestrom saw that one coming.
James lands the left hand.
Hallestrom moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Hallestrom takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Hallestrom takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Hallestrom misses with the combination.
Hallestrom throws a right hand that James ducks under and follows up with a left that James also avoids with ease.
James throws a lazy right hand but Hallestrom sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
James is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hallestrom sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Hallestrom throws a low kick but it's checked well by James.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Hallestrom.
Hallestrom looks to land a combination but James avoids it well.
Ulric Hallestrom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hallestrom throws a series of punches but James avoids them all with ease.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Hallestrom, right into the meat.
Hallestrom dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on James. That did some damage!
James looks gassed!

Hallestrom throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
James moves out of range of the strikes.
Hallestrom looks to land a left hand but James moved out of range nicely.
James tries to move into range but Hallestrom moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Hallestrom is looking to slow James down with leg kicks.

James avoids the head kick by Hallestrom.

Hallestrom lands a big head kick that sends James tumbling to the mat! Hallestrom takes a step backwards and waves James back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Hallestrom throws a shot from downtown. James moves away and avoids it.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Hallestrom.
Hallestrom lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as James backs up against the cage.
James is rocked!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

James is still on wobbly legs! Can Hallestrom finish him?
Hallestrom rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but James moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
James seems to have recovered his senses.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Hallestrom.
Hallestrom loads up on a big right hand but James slips the punch.
and Hallestrom counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts James! He's just covering up as Hallestrom starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
