Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Mclovin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gervazio Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mclovin comes into the arena with Sandstorm by Darude blaring out of the sound system. Gervazio Silva will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Silva is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Silva closes the distance looking to clinch
and Mclovin counters with a stiff right hand.
Silva works the jab nicely.
Mclovin fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Silva sprawls well initially but Mclovin persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Silva wants to get back to his feet.

Silva throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Silva is kicking away at Mclovin from the bottom - trying to push off and stand up. Mclovin grabs hold of a leg and drops back for a hell hook! The two fighters roll across the mat, with Silva trying to push Mclovin off... Silva taps! He's tapped! This one is all over! A throwback to the old Pancrase there with an infrequently seen submission hold! Nice work.
