Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Goddurn Mess (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felix Lindfors (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Felix Lindfors is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Goddurn Mess!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Felix Lindfors!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lindfors with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Lindfors feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Lindfors stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mess swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lindfors slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Lindfors is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Mess has escaped the position, nice work there.
Mess is looking to regain half guard here but Lindfors keeps moving and retains side control.

Lindfors tries to stand but Mess is controlling his head.

Lindfors shoots in looking for a takedown. Mess tries to sprawl out of it but Lindfors keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mess manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Lindfors swings for the body but Mess moves out of range.

Lindfors gets caught napping as Mess dives in and scores a takedown. Lindfors manages to retain guard.
Mess prevents Lindfors from getting back to his feet.
Mess wants to pass the guard but Lindfors is keeping the position.
Mess is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Lindfors escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mess gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Mess won't allow Lindfors to get back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lindfors is trying to control the position but Mess postures up.
Mess stays in close to Lindfors's body and controls the position.

Mess uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lindfors.

Lindfors shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mess but Mess pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Mess pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Mess lands a big shot there that rocks Lindfors but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
