Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Francesco Clemenza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Grimes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Francesco Clemenza has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jesse Grimes!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Jorge Garcia and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clemenza scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Grimes prevents Clemenza from moving into mount.
Grimes managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Clemenza.
Clemenza in side control, throwing shots but Grimes defends.
Clemenza tries to move into full mount but can't pass Grimes's legs.
Clemenza tries for a kimura but Grimes is defending well.
Grimes tries to bench press Clemenza off him but Clemenza keeps the position.
Clemenza tries to score with some ground and pound. Grimes controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Grimes tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Clemenza wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Clemenza fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Clemenza gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Clemenza has his foot on Grimes's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Grimes works his way back into a safe position though.

Grimes moves into full mount! Clemenza won't be happy about that!

Clemenza is wriggling around trying to escape.
Grimes is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Clemenza can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Grimes has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Grimes connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Clemenza to escape the position.

Clemenza wants to escape the position.
Grimes is working for a rear naked choke. Clemenza is not defending it well and Grimes has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Clemenza refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Clemenza's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
