Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Damian Bucholz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maron Paul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, John Mangel and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paul gets caught flat footed, as Bucholz shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Bucholz is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Bucholz tries to free his leg and advance position but Paul is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Paul is trying to control the position but Bucholz postures up.
Bucholz distracts Paul with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Bucholz pushes down on Paul's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Bucholz perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Paul wants to control but Bucholz is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Bucholz is working for a kimura but Paul is defending it quite comfortably.
Bucholz tries to pass the half guard into mount. Paul knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Paul tries to get to full guard but Bucholz has control of the leg.
Bucholz wants to control but Paul is keeping him busy.
Paul is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Bucholz wants to pass to mount but Paul is defending the position.
Bucholz is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Bucholz passes to full mount!

Bucholz working for a guillotine from mount but Paul is in no mood to give up.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Bucholz blocks Paul's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Bucholz is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Paul can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Paul tries to hold on but Bucholz pushes him away.
Bucholz takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bucholz with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Paul is in a horrible position here. Bucholz smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Bucholz stands up from mount. Strange move.
Bucholz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Paul tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Paul looks gassed!
Paul fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bucholz drives through with a takedown into guard.
Bucholz trying to control but Paul is working from the bottom.
Bucholz scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Bucholz looking to sit in guard and control but Paul gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Paul has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Bucholz to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Paul is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Bucholz pulls down on the head and he's put Paul to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Damian Bucholz!
A very excited looking Damian Bucholz made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
