Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jason Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Speechley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jason Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Adam Speechley! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yuuki Gou and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Speechley fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Speechley gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Miller counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Miller passes to side control. Miller really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Speechley is being controlled here. Miller goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Speechley rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Miller's guard! Nice work there by Speechley! Miller wants to control the position but Speechley says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Speechley is working for a kimura but Miller is defending it quite comfortably.
Speechley is thwarting Miller's attempts to control the position. The fighters are battling for position here. Miller manages to regain full guard. Nice work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Speechley is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Speechley postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Miller is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Speechley, into his guard. Speechley working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Miller doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Miller manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Miller avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller connects with a couple of short punches. Speechley looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Miller has picked Speechley up and slammed him! Speechley can't keep hold of the triangle and Miller manages to pass to side control! Miller wants to lay and pray for a moment but Speechley keeps working. Miller will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Speechley is trying to control Miller's posture but Miller avoids it. Miller stands up. Miller scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Miller lands a nice forearm strike. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Miller dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Miller pushes Speechley up against the cage in a clinch. Speechley has clasped his hands together around Miller's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Miller sneaks back into half guard. Miller makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Miller scores a takedown into full mount! Speechley is squirming around, avoiding Miller's attempts to control the action. Speechley can't escape the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller breaks from Speechley's wrist control and lands an elbow. Miller wants to control the pace but Speechley is squirming around nicely. Speechley in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Miller pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Miller scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Miller controlling the pace for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Speechley is trying to reverse the position but instead Miller has taken his back - oops! A lull in the action here.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Miller landing with strikes. Can Speechley hold on?! Miller is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Speechley rolls, trying to escape but Miller keeps control of the position.
Miller is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Speechley has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Miller is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Miller gets his hands free as Speechley looks to control. Miller has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Miller looking for the choke but no joy. Speechley is having to fend off submission attempts from Miller, who is looking to sink in the choke. Miller doesn't have the hooks in though and Speechley manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Miller dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Miller forces Speechley back against the cage and clinches. Speechley has Miller pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Miller manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Miller pulls guard effortlessly. Miller is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Miller is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jason Miller. Miller gets a clinch. Miller tries to circle away but Speechley has him pinned against the cage. Speechley has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Miller avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Miller cracks Speechley with a nice body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee is keeping an eye on Miller - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Miller escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Miller fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Speechley sprawls well initially but Miller persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Miller trying to control from half guard but Speechley is working away. Speechley is trying to control but Miller passes into side control!
Miller takes a little break here. Speechley wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Speechley tries to improve position but can't. Miller wants to control but Speechley is keeping him busy. Miller controls the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Jason Miller wasn't doing enough on the ground. Miller shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Miller was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Miller in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Miller can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Speechley is looking to escape. Miller takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Adam Speechley has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jason Miller is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Miller tries to control but Speechley wriggling away.
And that's the end of the fight! Jason Miller showed his dominance in that final round. Well Miller has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Jason Miller! A very excited looking Jason Miller rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
