Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sergei jr Janakoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcel Duda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Janakoff comes to the cage accompanied by Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Tich - Bend It. Marcel Duda acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sergei jr Janakoff! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Marcel Duda! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duda shoots in looking for a takedown. Janakoff tries to sprawl out of it but Duda keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Janakoff manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Janakoff lands a lovely overhand right. Duda slips a straight right by Janakoff. Janakoff fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Duda on the side of the head. Duda closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Janakoff misses with a takedown and Duda counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Janakoff is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Janakoff escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Duda gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Janakoff working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Duda doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Duda manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Janakoff throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duda wants to control from the top but Janakoff keeps moving. Janakoff utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Janakoff keeping moving, preventing Duda from controlling successfully. Janakoff looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Duda passes into side control.
Duda throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Duda has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Janakoff tries to get back to half guard but can't. Duda looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Janakoff wants to control but Duda postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Duda is looking to take a break and control but Janakoff is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Janakoff tries to bench press Duda off him but Duda keeps the position. Janakoff can't do much from the bottom here. Janakoff is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Janakoff is breathing heavily.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Duda with a lazy takedown attempt and Janakoff counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Janakoff paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Janakoff fails to land with a series of punches.
Janakoff fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Duda manages to avoid it. Janakoff lands a jab to Duda's midsection.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Duda. Sergei jr Janakoff has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcel Duda. Janakoff wants to clinch up but Duda keeps it at a distance. Janakoff listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Duda slips a straight right by Janakoff. Janakoff fails to land the takedown. Janakoff loads up on a big right hand but Duda slips the punch. Duda with a lazy takedown attempt and Janakoff counters with a right hand to the body. Janakoff swinging wilding here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Duda avoids the body shot from Janakoff.
Duda shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Duda takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Janakoff throws a hook but Duda avoids it easily. Janakoff misses with a body punch
and Duda counters with a shoot takedown. Janakoff fights it but they end up in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Duda seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Duda makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Duda wants to pass the guard but Janakoff is keeping the position. Janakoff looking for a sweep. Not yet Janakoff, not yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Sergei jr Janakoff will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Duda circles away from the clinch attempt and Duda counters with a nice double leg into guard. Janakoff looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Duda passes into side control.
Duda is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Janakoff has escaped the position, nice work there. Janakoff is trying to get back to half guard. Janakoff is working hard here to advance position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Duda has knee on belly momentarily but Janakoff bucks him off and regains half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Janakoff is staying active underneath Duda, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Duda slows the pace down in half guard. Janakoff tries to get to full guard but Duda has control of the leg. Duda seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Janakoff does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Janakoff falls off balance throwing a combination
and Duda counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Janakoff's guard now. Duda postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Duda wants to control from the top but Janakoff keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Janakoff working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Duda doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Janakoff is tightening it up a little... Duda has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Duda reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Duda taps out! nice BJJ there by Janakoff!
