Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Alan Martin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Razz Sukuraba! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Martin shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Sukuraba manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Sukuraba keeping moving, preventing Martin from controlling successfully. Sukuraba avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Sukuraba trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Martin stopping the sweep attempt from Sukuraba. Sukuraba managing to control the position. Martin wants to control from the top but Sukuraba keeps moving. Martin missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Sukuraba has Martin pulled in close to control his posture.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Razz Sukuraba wasn't active enough on the ground. Sukuraba swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sukuraba misses with a looping right. Martin goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Sukuraba misses with a two punch combination.
Sukuraba lunges at Martin with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Martin's hand. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Sukuraba!
It looks like Alan Martin has been cut. Sukuraba lands a jab to Martin's midsection. Sukuraba throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Martin. Sukuraba drops Martin with a right and a left! Sukuraba comes rushing in but Martin regains his composure and manages to keep Sukuraba in guard.
Martin is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Martin manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Oh Martin is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Martin sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Martin unloads with some shots from mount but Sukuraba bucks and avoids them well.
Martin seems to have got his legs back now. Martin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Martin raining down shots from the mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Martin content just to control the position here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sukuraba is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Martin jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Sukuraba is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Sukuraba and Martin has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Sukuraba is looking to reverse the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Martin wants to control but Sukuraba is keeping him busy. Martin working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Sukuraba is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Sukuraba tries to get to full guard but Martin has control of the leg. Martin is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sukuraba is just riding it out for now. Martin eventually gives up the hold. Martin missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Martin prevents Sukuraba from improving his position. Sukuraba is staying active underneath Martin, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Martin is pressing down on Sukuraba's thigh, looking to free his foot. Sukuraba is holding on for now. Sukuraba trying to control here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Razz Sukuraba dominated that round. The cut man is working on Alan Martin's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Martin throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Martin just misses with a punch to the body.
Alan Martin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sukuraba showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Martin.
Sukuraba lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Martin backs up against the cage.
Martin shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sukuraba but Sukuraba pushes him off and we're back to square one. Martin loses concentration momentarily and Sukuraba pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Martin crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Sukuraba finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Razz Sukuraba!
