Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, John Mangel and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with dos Santos but dos Santos pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Khan scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Khan tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
dos Santos struggling a bit here.
dos Santos tries to bench press Khan off him but Khan keeps the position.
dos Santos parries the strikes from Khan easily there. Khan is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable dos Santos to escape.

Khan wants to lay and pray for a moment but dos Santos keeps working.

Khan throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

dos Santos tries to reverse the position but Khan maintains control.
dos Santos holds on to Khan as tight as he can, avoiding damage.

Khan lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
That has opened up Christian dos Santos's cut even more.
Khan working over dos Santos with some ground and pound. dos Santos looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Khan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Khan wants to free his trapped foot but dos Santos is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Khan is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for dos Santos!
