Tompkins comes to the cage accompanied by Dying Fetus - One Shot, One Kill. Steve Tompkins could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Dingo Monster's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dingo Monster!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Skip Squint and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monster tries a head kick but it misses.
A right-left combo lands from Tompkins.

It looks like Dingo Monster has been cut.
Tompkins shoots in for a takedown but Monster shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Tompkins chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Monster can pounce on him.
Monster lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Monster fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Tompkins has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Steve Tompkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Monster sizes up Tompkins with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Monster bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Monster connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Tompkins drives through and clinches with Monster against the cage.
Tompkins tries for a takedown but Monster manages to get underhooks.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steve Tompkins. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tompkins is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Monster pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Monster lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Tompkins backwards.

Tompkins tries to pull guard but Monster holds him up against the cage and eventually Tompkins drops back down to his feet.

Tompkins is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Monster is defending well.
Tompkins goes for a takedown attempt but Monster pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Monster moves into the clinch.
Monster blocks an uppercut.
Monster with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Tompkins has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Monster avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Monster goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Tompkins wants a takedown.
Monster lands a hook to the side of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tompkins takes a shot to the head.
Monster effectively controlling the action here.

Monster pushes Tompkins back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Monster.
A nice left hand lands by Monster.

Monster breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Monster slaps away a takedown attempt from Tompkins, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Dingo Monster is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Monster thows a body kick. Tompkins tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Monster lands with an overhand left.

Tompkins is rocked!
Monster lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Tompkins up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Monster from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Tompkins's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

After the fight, Dingo Monster was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
