Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Magomed Baroev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fernando Poplo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Sergei Dronov and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poplo misses with a head kick.
Baroev leaves Poplo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Baroev shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Poplo as he jumps to the side.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Poplo is defended easily by Baroev.

Poplo shoots for a double leg takedown but Baroev sprawls well. He's pushed Poplo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Poplo closes the distance and clinches up with Baroev, looking for a takedown. Poplo pushes Baroev against the cage but Baroev circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Both fighters circling a little - Baroev finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Baroev has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Baroev seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Poplo for as long as he can get away with.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close second round but I would say that Magomed Baroev will probably get the nod.
That's time! Baroev's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Baroev is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Poplo to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Poplo shrugs it off.
Poplo is in all sorts of trouble here.
Poplo's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Poplo wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

Even with his hooks in, Baroev manages to miss with strikes from the back.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Poplo breaks Baroev's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Magomed Baroev showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Baroev, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
