The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green avoids a kick to the body.

Buffet throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Green connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Buffet lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Buffet scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Buffet escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Green gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Buffet is on top in guard.
Buffet wants to control from the top but Green keeps moving.

Buffet drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Buffet jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Green shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Buffet napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Buffet throws a looping overhand right but Green ducks down to avoid it.
Buffet finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Green tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Buffet manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Buffet is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Green rolls with it to try and escape but Buffet cranks on the arm and Green is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
