4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Don Krull! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Asher gets a clinch. Krull looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Asher works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Asher passes Krull's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Asher seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Asher uses his free foot to push down on Krull's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Krull. Asher connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Asher is in the full mount, landing strikes. Asher scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Krull is rocked! Asher lands a heavy elbow. Krull is still in real trouble! Can Asher finish him? Asher has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Krull's face.
Krull gets back to half guard. Asher is taking a breather. Krull says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Ground and pound from Asher. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Asher uses his free foot to push down on Krull's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Krull. Asher lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Asher lands a big shot to the head and Krull winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
