Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tony Jaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane MacKallister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jaa comes to the cage accompanied by Anna Molly by Incubus. MacKallister is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Four Horsemen by Metallica. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Shane MacKallister enters the cage!

11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shane MacKallister! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Jaa looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Jaa lands with a nice combination. MacKallister backs away looking to recover. MacKallister tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jaa sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten MacKallister somewhat. Jaa misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jaa moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Shane MacKallister seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from MacKallister. MacKallister misses with an uppercut
and Jaa counters with a flying knee. Nice. Jaa tries to land a leg kick but MacKallister saw it coming and moves away.

It looks like Shane MacKallister has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! MacKallister shoots for a double leg takedown but Jaa sprawls well. He's pushed MacKallister's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Tony Jaa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shane MacKallister. Jaa tries a head kick but it misses.

Jaa lunges at MacKallister with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by MacKallister's hand. MacKallister lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Tony Jaa is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. MacKallister takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. MacKallister throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jaa's waist but Jaa gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing MacKallister off to one side. Jaa scores with a spinning back kick! Jaa fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Jaa plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Jaa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Jaa wants to clinch up but MacKallister keeps it at a distance. Jaa throws a series of punches but MacKallister avoids them all with ease. Jaa connects with a leg kick. MacKallister looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. MacKallister looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jaa is fending him off so far but MacKallister persists. Nope, Jaa circles away and we're back to standing. A punch combination from Jaa misses. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jaa gets caught napping as MacKallister dives in and scores a takedown. Jaa manages to retain guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Jaa utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Jaa is trying to control the position but MacKallister postures up. MacKallisteris looking to pass into half guard but Jaa pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Jaa is in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. MacKallister is trying to keep Jaa in close.
MacKallister has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Jaa trying to control but MacKallister is working from the bottom. MacKallister can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jaa controls the pace.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. MacKallister shoots in but Jaa avoids the takedown attempt easily. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Jaa lands with a thumping leg kick.
Jaa fails in his attempt to clinch. Jaa bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tony Jaa dominated that round. The cut man is working on Shane MacKallister's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
MacKallister uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jaa. MacKallister shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jaa pinned against the cage. Jaa gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Jaa scores with a head kick.
Tony Jaa is winning the standup battle so far. MacKallister dives in and scores a takedown into Jaa's guard. Jaa pulls MacKallister in close to prevent any damage. MacKallister is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jaa defends it well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. MacKallister stands up from half guard. MacKallister has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Jaa.

Jaa tries to land a front kick but MacKallister steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. MacKallister shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jaa but Jaa pushes him off and we're back to square one. Jaa stuffs the takedown. Tony Jaa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shane MacKallister. MacKallister checks a leg kick nicely. Jaa throws a right and a left that both miss. Jaa pulls out of a head kick attempt.
MacKallister digs a good body shot into Jaa's ribs. MacKallister drives through with a takedown into Jaa's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Jaa has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but MacKallister can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. MacKallister throws an elbow that misses. Jaa uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in MacKallister's guard. Nice move by Jaa! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. MacKallister throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Jaa escapes and throws MacKallister's legs to the side, diving into side control! You can see the frustration on MacKallister's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. MacKallister is looking for a sweep. Jaa lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! MacKallister manages to work his way to half guard, despite Jaa's best efforts. MacKallister trying to hold on to Jaa's head to control him but Jaa postures up.
Jaa is keen to just control but MacKallister is a slippery customer.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jaa is thwarting MacKallister's attempts to control the position. Jaa wants to free his trapped foot but MacKallister is holding on for dear life with his legs. Jaa prevents MacKallister from standing back up.

Jaa thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. MacKallister looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Jaa passes into half guard.
