Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Moussa Diagne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wolfgang Lindemann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Diagne might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Immortal Technique -The Point Of No Return. Wolfgang Lindemann will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Moussa Diagne!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Wolfgang Lindemann!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lindemann closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lindemann lands in his opponent's guard.
Diagne manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Lindemann wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Lindemann is trying to escape the mount.
Lindemann is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Diagne is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Lindemann has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Lindemann!
Diagne is trying to keep Lindemann in close.

Diagne managing to control the position.
Lindemann in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Diagne tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Lindemann wants to pass the guard but Diagne is keeping the position.
Diagne controls Lindemann momentarily but Lindemann frees himself.

Moussa Diagne has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
A thudding body kick lands there by Lindemann!
Horrible takedown by Lindemann or perhaps it was just good defense by Diagne which made him look bad.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Diagne slaps away a takedown attempt from Lindemann, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Lindemann closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Diagne to the mat! Diagne manages to get full guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lindemann wants to control from the top but Diagne keeps moving.
Diagne lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Lindemann!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lindemann swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Lindemann tries to lock up and control but Diagne gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Lindemann is in all sorts of trouble here.

Diagne goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Lindemann turns into him and now he's in Diagne's guard.
Diagne keeping moving, preventing Lindemann from controlling successfully.
Diagne is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lindemann wants to control from the top but Diagne keeps moving.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Diagne is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Diagne is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lindemann defends well.
Lindemann slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Wolfgang Lindemann was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Diagne gets tackled into the cage by Lindemann. Lindemann maintains the clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lindemann tries to score a body lock takedown but Diagne shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lindemann drags the fight down to the ground.
Diagne landing some decent shots from guard.
Diagne might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Diagne drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Lindemann dives on top into guard.

Diagne bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lindemann's guard.

Lindemann has his foot on Diagne's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Diagne works his way back into a safe position though.

Lindemann is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Diagne accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Diagne wants to control from the top but Lindemann keeps moving.
Lindemann doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Diagne uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lindemann.

Diagne takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Diagne looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Lindemann moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Diagne tries to free his leg and advance position but Lindemann is retaining full guard.

Lindemann isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Diagne stacks Lindemann on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Diagne!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Lindemann sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Moussa Diagne dominated that second round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


Lindemann fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Diagne stuffs the takedown.

Lindemann shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Diagne sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Diagne is controlling Lindemann's trapped leg to prevent Lindemann from advancing to side control.
Diagne is not content to let Lindemann control the position.
Diagne wants to get back to full guard.

Diagne is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Lindemann pulls his head out easily.
Lindemann throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Lindemann is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Diagne doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Lindemann.

Diagne is looking to improve his position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Diagne shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lindemann but Lindemann pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Moussa Diagne has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wolfgang Lindemann.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Diagne is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

And that's the end of the fight!
Wolfgang Lindemann comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Lindemann has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
