Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between jukka mattila (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Avers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Avers as mattila shoots in.
mattila tries for a takedown but Avers sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
mattila clinches with his opponent.
mattila manages to break the clinch.
mattila misses with the combination.
mattila throws a right and a left that both miss.
mattila looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
mattila looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Avers wants to improve his position but mattila is controlling well.
Avers trying to control from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round.
mattila tries to pass to full mount but Avers defends it.
mattila has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
mattila sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Avers tries to lock up and control but mattila gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Avers swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Avers avoids a series of strikes thrown by mattila.
Avers is squirming around, avoiding mattila's attempts to control the action.
Avers keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
mattila takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
mattila cracks Avers with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
mattila tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
mattila is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Avers tries to reverse the position but mattila maintains control.
mattila is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Avers is surviving well by controlling mattila's body position as best he can.
Avers tries to lock up and control but mattila gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Avers keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
mattila misses with a head shot.
Avers regains half guard.
Avers wants to control but mattila is keeping busy and won't allow it.
mattila is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Avers reverses the position - he's now on top in mattila's guard.
Avers trying to control the position from guard on top but mattila is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Avers misses with a series of wild punches.
Avers tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but mattila paws at him with a jab and circles away.
mattila throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Avers counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. mattila is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Avers with a hook.
mattila is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Avers.
mattila takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Avers closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Avers scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
mattila tries a low kick but Avers avoids it.
mattila shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Avers but Avers pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Avers wants to clinch but mattila slips to the side
and mattila counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by mattila.

Avers looking to control.
mattila wants to control from the top but Avers keeps moving.
mattila tries to free his leg and advance position but Avers is retaining full guard.
Avers is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
mattila trying to control the position from guard on top but Avers is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Avers controls mattila momentarily but mattila frees himself.
Avers has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but mattila has passed into side control.
Avers manages to get back to half guard.
mattila tries to stand and escape but Avers actually recovers to full guard.
Avers is looking to sinch up a triangle. mattila throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Avers's body to avoid the submission. Avers has instead reached around mattila's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Avers arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
