Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keep It Real (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Troy McLure (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McLure has chosen The Simpsons Theme Song as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Troy McLure has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Keep It Real!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Troy McLure!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McLure misses with a two punch combination.
McLure misses with the combination.
Troy McLure seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Real swats away the attempt to clinch by McLure.

Real closes the distance and pushes McLure back into the cage.
McLure can't break the clinch.

Real has clasped his hands together around McLure's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Real looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
McLure tries to bench press Real off him but Real keeps the position.
Real remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

McLure is looking for a sweep.
Real slows the pace down.

Real decides to stand back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Real looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Real controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Real tries to free his leg and advance position but McLure is retaining full guard.
Real looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
McLure trying to keep a closed guard but Real is proving a slippery customer.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Keep It Real wasn't doing enough on the ground.
McLure darts in trying to clinch

and Real counters with a takedown into side control.

Real stands up and beckons McLure to his feet.

Real clinches up against the cage.
McLure wants to break the clinch but can't.
Real is working for takedown but McLure is calmly controlling the position for now.
Real tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. McLure just stands there and leans against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Real fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Keep It Real. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Real breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Real shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as McLure sprawls well. McLure wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Real gets slowly back to his feet.
McLure tries to clinch there but Real circles away.
McLure lands with a nice combination. Real backs away looking to recover.


It looks like Keep It Real has been cut.
McLure throws a right and a left that both miss.
McLure fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by McLure!
Real is breathing heavily.

Real closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
McLure is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
McLure is looking to reverse the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Keep It Real will probably get the nod.

Real is looking to clinch but McLure is avoiding it.
McLure leaves Real with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Real throws a jab when McLure was well out of range.
McLure cracks Real with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Oooooh!!! McLure has knocked Real down with a huge combo! McLure steps away and waves a wobbly Real back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


Real is rocked!
Real tries for a takedown but McLure sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
McLure looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

McLure drops Real with a beautiful combination! Real stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - McLure is looking for the KO!
Oh Real is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!


Keep It Real's cut is getting worse.
McLure swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Real seems to have got his legs back now.
Real takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Real gets tackled into the cage by McLure. McLure maintains the clinch.
McLure missing with knees to the body.
Real tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. McLure just stands there and leans against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Keep It Real. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Real is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Real seems a little flustered. He's come in with the intention of controlling the clinch but McLure is preventing him from doing so, at least for the moment.
Real tries to score a body lock takedown but McLure shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
A short right hand to the side of the head by McLure.

McLure wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Real has McLure pressed against the cage, preventing McLure from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

McLure pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
McLure catches Real with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
McLure is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Real shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as McLure sprawls well. McLure wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Real gets slowly back to his feet.
McLure digs a good hook to Real's body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McLure lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Troy McLure seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Real tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Oooooh!!! McLure has knocked Real down with a huge combo! McLure steps away and waves a wobbly Real back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
McLure scores with a sloppy right hand. Real should have avoided that one.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
McLure lands with a big left! Real is wobbled badly! McLure comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Real to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:08 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Troy McLure!
In his post fight interview, Troy McLure gave a big smile as he said '"Duff Man... says a lot of things! Oh, yeah!"'.
