Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between David Casillas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Kozar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). David Casillas has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, David Casillas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Harry Kozar!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Casillas tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kozar sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Casillas somewhat.
Kozar closes the distance and clinches up with Casillas, looking for a takedown. Kozar pushes Casillas against the cage but Casillas circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Kozar closes the distance and pushes Casillas back into the cage.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Kozar.
Casillas tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Kozar unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Casillas is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Kozar is keeping busy.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kozar wants to try and get back to his feet.

Casillas wants to finish this one by submission but Kozar is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Casillas.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that David Casillas will probably get the nod.

The fight stays on the outside here - Casillas looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kozar misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Casillas dives in and grabs Kozar's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kozar pushes down on Casillas's head and hops out.
Casillas shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kozar but Kozar pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kozar looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Casillas cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Kozar is still in real trouble! Can Casillas finish him?

Casillas postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Kozar looks a forlorn figure.

A helpless look comes across Kozar 's face. He knows he's trapped as Casillas lands a series of unanswered strikes. The ref steps in to stop the fight and this one is in the books!
