Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Robert De Noteboom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Cartman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cartman has chosen Santana Ft Everlast - Put Your Lights On as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Robert De Noteboom!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eric Cartman!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paul Aken and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cartman is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by De Noteboom.
Cartman throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Cartman paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Cartman ducks down and throws a hook to the body but De Noteboom moves away.
Cartman misses with a hook

so De Noteboom counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
De Noteboom throws an elbow that misses. Cartman uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in De Noteboom's guard. Nice move by Cartman!
Cartman postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells De Noteboom's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Cartman wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Cartman throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
De Noteboom rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Cartman counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

and De Noteboom counters with a nice double leg into side control. Cartman won't be happy with that.
You can see the frustration on Cartman's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Cartman is looking for a sweep.
De Noteboom working away.
De Noteboom is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Cartman's shoulder. That is not cool.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

De Noteboom is looking to take a break and control but Cartman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close round but I would say that Robert De Noteboom will probably get the nod.

Cartman creates some space and throws a big elbow, but De Noteboom sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Cartman fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

BOOM! Cartman connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Cartman wants to control the action but instead De Noteboom gets a body lock and reverses into Cartman's guard! Nice work!

De Noteboom is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Eric Cartman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Eric Cartman comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Cartman has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
