Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Willison Mitchell !
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Alyssa Summers and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mitchell fails with the takedown
and Turny counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Turny changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mitchell looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Turny scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Mitchell to see if he's OK.
Mitchell takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Mitchell pushes Turny away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Turny gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Turny in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Mitchell manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Turny thows a huge punch but Mitchell dodges it nicely.
Turny slips a nice elbow through Mitchell 's hands, connecting with Mitchell 's forehead.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Turny lands a nice short elbow.

Mitchell lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Turny!

Turny bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Turny cracks Mitchell with a solid left hand.
Mitchell wants to stand but Turny is controlling the position.
Turny knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mitchell on the ground.

Turny throws an elbow that misses. Mitchell uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Turny's guard. Nice move by Mitchell !

Turny's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Turny striking off his back but it's not causing Mitchell any problems.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Willison Mitchell wasn't active enough on the ground.
Mitchell doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Turny counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Casper Turny dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Mitchell tries for a takedown but Turny circles away easily
and Turny counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Mitchell !
Turny lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Mitchell hang on?

Mitchell is in a horrible position here. Turny smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Mitchell 's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Turny is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Mitchell can do to turn this around?

Turny cracks Mitchell with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Turny pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Turny loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Mitchell scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Turny land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Turny stands and salutes the crowd.
