The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ripheart shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ripheart showed some decent athleticism there.
Ripheart seems to be looking for submissions.
Ripheart not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Tonbridge actively working from the bottom here.
Tonbridge tries to roll over but Ripheart keeps him under control.
Ripheart trying to mount his opponent but Tonbridge defends it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Ripheart changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tonbridge looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Tonbridge is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
