Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Doctor Rockzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek Mufflin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rockzo comes to the cage accompanied by I'm Just a Rock 'n' Roll Clown -by- Doctor Rockzo. On his way into the cage it seems that Doctor Rockzo has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Doctor Rockzo seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Derek Mufflin!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rockzo has closed the distance and engaged Mufflin in a clinch.

Rockzo works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Mufflin controlling the position.
Rockzo has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Rockzo postures up in Mufflin's guard and throws a big left but Mufflin blocks it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mufflin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rockzo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Rockzois looking to pass into half guard but Mufflin pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Mufflin is in guard.

Mufflin tries to free his leg and advance position but Rockzo is retaining full guard.
Rockzo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mufflin's guard.
Rockzo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mufflin swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Rockzo throws a strike aimed at the side of Mufflin's head but Mufflin avoids it well.
Mufflin wants to control but Rockzo postures up.

Rockzo goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Mufflin rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Rockzo's guard! Nice work there by Mufflin!

Mufflin got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rockzo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mufflin has managed to get both his arms back between Rockzo's legs - danger averted.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mufflin postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Rockzo is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Rockzo looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Rockzo wants to control the position but Mufflin says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Mufflin is nestled in close to Rockzo, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Rockzo is looking for a sweep. Mufflin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rockzo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Mufflin trying to mount his opponent but Rockzo defends it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Doctor Rockzo dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Mufflin shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Mufflin tries for a takedown but Rockzo sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Mufflin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rockzo is fending him off so far but Mufflin persists. Nope, Rockzo circles away and we're back to standing.
Doctor Rockzo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Derek Mufflin.
Mufflin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rockzo tries to avoid it but Mufflin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rockzo to the ground. Rockzo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Mufflin closes the distance and pushes Rockzo back into the cage.

Rockzo is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Mufflin can't fight it off and eventually Rockzo manages to take the fight to the floor. Mufflin looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Mufflin is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Rockzo is posturing up here but Mufflin has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Rockzo tries to roll out but it's too tight and Rockzo has to tap! Slick submission there by Mufflin!

A very excited looking Derek Mufflin made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
