Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Night Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iqbal Al Mamood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man comes to the cage accompanied by Night Man. Al Mamood is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Mamute Pequenino. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Al Mamood avoids the head kick by Man.
Al Mamood waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Man.
Man misses with a kick to the body.

Man throws a head kick that misses.
Man fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Al Mamood.

Al Mamood shoots in for a double leg but Man sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Iqbal Al Mamood hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Al Mamood is trying to drag Man to the mat but Man just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Night Man has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Iqbal Al Mamood.
