Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 20 - 1, fighting out of New York, Scott Donavan!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, David Schapiro and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Donavan.
Sear pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Sear tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Donavan was well out of range. Poor timing from Sear.
Sear tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Donavan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Sear stuns Donavan with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Sear connects with a good right hand that stumbles Donavan. Donavan circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Donavan takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Sear avoids a punch combination nicely.
Donavan throws a chopping leg kick but Sear manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Sloppy strikes from Donavan. Those never looked like landing.
Donavan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sear was well out of range. Poor timing from Donavan.

Donavan swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Sear.
Sear feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Donavan's calf.

Sear closes the distance and pushes Donavan back into the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sear is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Donavan is defending well for now.
