Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hokkaido Honsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ona Tanaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hokkaido Honsu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hokkaido Honsu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ona Tanaka!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yuuki Gou and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Tanaka.
Tanaka looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Honsu darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Honsu seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tanaka is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Honsu tries to pass to full mount but Tanaka defends it.
Honsu looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Honsu is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Still in half guard, Honsu seems content to control.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Hokkaido Honsu just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Honsu darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Tanaka really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Honsu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Still in half guard, Honsu seems content to control.
Honsu is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Tanaka doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Honsu.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tanaka is in trouble now - Honsu has advanced to mount!
Honsu scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Tanaka?

Tanaka tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Honsu tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Tanaka defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Honsu.
Honsu controlling the pace for now.
Tanaka has given up his back here.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Honsu slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Honsu lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.
Honsu is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Tanaka. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.
I would not like to be Tanaka right now.
Honsu is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Honsu gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Honsu gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Honsu apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Tanaka walks into a jab.
Honsu tries to clinch but Tanaka is having none of it.
Tanaka throws a body punch but Honsu moves out of range.
Honsu scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Honsu keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hokkaido Honsu dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Tanaka tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Honsu wants to clinch but Tanaka slips to the side
and Tanaka counters with a shoot takedown. Honsu fights it but they end up in guard.
Tanaka in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Honsu wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Honsu manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Honsu lands a heavy elbow.
Hokkaido Honsu overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Tanaka is breathing heavily.
Tanaka looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Honsu working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Tanaka is doing well to defend. Honsu seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Tanaka is forced to tap and this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:02 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Hokkaido Honsu!
