Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Manny Baddabing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lazarus Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Jones's choice of entrance music: Enter Sandman - Metallica. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baddabing looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jones misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jones throws a low kick but Baddabing avoids it.
A slow jab from Jones misses its intended target.
Baddabing bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Jones's head.
Jones throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Baddabing.
Baddabing shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jones sprawls well. Jones wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Baddabing gets slowly back to his feet.
Baddabing throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Baddabing misses with a wild body shot.
Jones thows a body shot but no joy.
Jones throws a hook to the side of Baddabing's head but Baddabing sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Baddabing slips under a jab.
Baddabing throws a looping overhand right but Jones ducks down to avoid it.
Jones wants to slow Baddabing down by chopping away at his legs.
Jones looks to throw the jab but Baddabing is out of range.
Baddabing scores with a sloppy right hand. Jones should have avoided that one.
Jones looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Nice straight punches there by Jones. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Jones.

and Baddabing connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

The fighters circling - Baddabing throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Jones lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Baddabing avoids the head kick by Jones.

Baddabing looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jones makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Jones tries to sprawl but Baddabing drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Baddabing seems to be working for a kimura but Jones defends the submission attempt.
Jones pushes Baddabing off but Baddabing dives into side control.

Jones wants to control but Baddabing postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jones parries the strikes from Baddabing easily there. Baddabing is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Jones to escape.
Jones is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Baddabing off and has taken his back!
Jones is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Baddabing has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Jones doesn't have the hooks in and Baddabing manages to turn into his guard.

Baddabing stands up over Jones, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Jones is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Baddabing defends well.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Jones is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Baddabing is controlling him.
Baddabing wants to pass the guard but Jones is keeping the position.

Baddabing drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Baddabing jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Baddabing is looking to work some ground and pound but Jones has wrist control.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Jones has his feet on Baddabing's thighs here. He's pushed Baddabing off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Baddabing screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
